Men with chronic heart failure have a significantly increased mortality risk if their oestradiol levels are low or high, a study finds.
Men with low oestradiol levels had as much as a 50% lower survival compared with men who had mid-range levels of the hormone, the researchers reported in the latest edition of JAMA.
