Older people with high-normal thyroid function are at increased risk of atrial fibrillation, a study shows. The Rotterdam Study, the first prospective population-based study to look at this association, found that participants in the lowest quartile of the normal range of serum TSH had almost double the risk of AF compared with those in the highest quartile....
